Attic Bedroom Made into a Unique Cozy Space

In this newly built home designed to look like an old country carriage house we kept the room light with drywall between the hand scraped beams and window trim.  Window frames are painted white, and drapes are light colored for an airy feel in this tiny, low ceiling space.  Since this cottage is set into the hillside covered with oak trees, we kept the natural theme in the fabrics too.  The green country plaid, the white drapes with embroidered acorns along with the animal printed pillows give this little bedroom a warm and cozy feel.  One of my favorite bedrooms, ever!  Auriel and Maraya
